Consistently good food
Came back for the third time last month. Had the T-bone steak again, which was as good as I remembered it from my last visit a few months ago. Booked the 'Steak experience' voucher for two. The process was straightforward online. We got the 30-day aged sirloin steaks, cooked medium rare as requested, and they were really tender. Came with the onion loaf and a choice of sauce; I picked peppercorn. Portions were decent. Service was attentive, not too pushy. The table was ready when we arrived. Overall, a smooth experience from start to finish. Everything was as described.
Decent meal, bit slow
Visited for an evening meal. Had the fillet steak with sweet potato fries. Steak was cooked well, nice and juicy. The sweet potato fries were crispy, just how I like them. Service was friendly enough, but it took a while for our main courses to arrive, probably 40 minutes after the starters were cleared. Not a huge issue but noticeable. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality of the beef is there. Would still go back.
